New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in Odisha and Chhattisgarh elections today. His office has said that he will launch several projects in both the states.

He will unveil a plaque to start work for the revival of the Talcher Fertilizer plant in Odisha. This is India's first plant to keep coal gasification based fertilizer unit. It has been said in the statement that besides fertilizer, the plant will produce natural gas, which will contribute to the country's energy needs.

Prime Minister Modi will again go to Jharsuguda to inaugurate the airport. It will bring Western Odisha to the aviation map of India, and will provide regional air connectivity through UNDAN scheme.


Prime Minister Gajanbahal dedicates the coal mines and the Jharsuguda-Barapali-Saradega rail link to the country. He will unveil a plaque for the production of dolly coal coal mine production and transportation.

She will reach Jahjigir-Champa district of Chhattisgarh around 3:20 pm, where she will visit an exhibition on traditional handloom and agriculture. He will lay the foundation for National Highway projects and Center-Anuppur third railway line.


The Prime Minister will also address the Kisan Conference between 3:30 PM and 4:30 PM.

Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Union Minister Raman Singh, Steel Minister Vishnu Dev Sai's Union Minister Nitin Gadkari will be present on the occasion.

The Chief Minister expressed his gratitude towards Prime Minister for the visit and said that this was the sixth visit of the state in four years, he gave priority to development of the state.

The Prime Minister will depart from Janjiji-Champa at 4:50 pm from helicopter and will land at Swami Vivekananda Airport at 5:40 pm in Raipur. The official said that he will go to New Delhi at 5:45.
