By adding more hardness to its popular hatchback, Tata Motors has introduced Tiago NRG in India as a hard version for standard hatchback. Tata Tiago NRG is a cross-hatch and its price is Rs. 5.5 lakhs rupees, Rs. 6.32 lakh for the range topping version (ex-showroom, Delhi). Tata Tiago describes NRG as an urban fundamentalist who hosts cosmetic upgrades and changes while maintaining the same basic care. This model is going on the Maruti Suzuki Celerio X in the segment, which is currently the only rival for NRG.
Tata Tiago is longer, wider and longer than the NRG standard hatchback, while ground clearance has increased to 180 mm. The styling joints on the model include bumpers, side skirts and black plastic padding around the wheel arches. The last bumper receives an impure skid plate and black roof rails are there. The black out grill in the car, ORVM, comes on the roof and triggers the hole. Black treatment is also available to match the cabin to the outside. Tiago NRG rides on 14-inch alloy wheels.

Electricity at Tata Tiago NRG comes from the same petrol and diesel engine options. The 1.2-liter three-cylinder Revotron petrol motor comes out of 84 bhp and 114 nm peak torque, while the 1.05 liter three-cylinder revotorak diesel is tuned for 69 bhp and 140 nm peak torque. Both engines match the 5-speed manual gearbox.
