Redmi Note 7 smartphone, which was unveiled in China last week, is still debuting in the global markets, but meanwhile, rumors are rolling around Redmi Note 7 Pro - an upgrade of Redmi Note 7. Xiaomi Sub launches last week Redmi Note 7's brand 'Redmi by Xiaomi' announced that Redmi Note 7 Pro will be rolled out next month.
The smartphone is rumored to be coming with Snapdragon 675 SoC. The price of the new model is also leaked. Like the Redmi Note 7, the Radmi Note Pro 7 will sport a 48-megapixel primary camera sensor on the rear.
Xiaomi had posted a teaser on Weibo with Redmi giving details of Redmi Note 7 last week. Teaser has shown that Redmi Note 7 Pro will come back with 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor. On the other hand, the Redmi Note 7 has a Samsung ISOCELL GM1 sensor of 48 megapixels.
In addition to disclosing the primary camera sensor, Redmi confirmed by the Xiaomi sub-brand that Redmi Note 7 Pro will be launched next month - sometime next month around Chinese New Year.
These were the only details that Chinese brands had officially revealed. However, a tipster on Vibo has claimed that the Redmi Note 7 Pro Qualcomm will come in the form of one of the first phones to include Snapdragon 675 SoC. This will be in contrast to the Redmi Note 7, in which Snapdragon will be 660 SoC.
To remember, Qualcomm had unveiled the Snapdragon 675 SoC in October last year, with the Octa-Core CREIO 675 CPU and Adreno 612 GPU. The new chipset comes in the form of an upgrade to Snapdragon 670 SoC and it is based on 11nm LPP process technology. In add8ition, Qualcomm has support for the ability to capture Quick Charge 4+ technology and Ultra Compassed video (4f at 30fps), with 480 tempered temporal temporal filtering and HD (720p) video recording.
