India wins T20 World Cup Final: Reactions are pouring in after India's sensational win over South Africa in the final of the T20 World Cup on Saturday. From Prime Minister Narendra Modi to legends of the game like Sachin Tendulkar and Mahendra Singh Dhoni, everyone has reacted to India winning their first world title in 13 years.

At one point, the match almost seemed to be slipping out of the hands of the Indian cricket team and thanks to Heinrich Klaasen's whirlwind 52 off 27 balls, South Africa needed just 30 runs from 30 balls.  However, Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh and Hardik Pandya, who shared seven wickets between them, led a comeback in the death overs to restrict South Africa to 169-8. There were emotional scenes after India won the title, with captain Rohit Sharma and the charismatic Virat Kohli announcing their retirement from T20Is.

The match also marked the last time coach Rahul Dravid was at the helm of the Indian cricket team. India won their second T20 World Cup, ending a streak of the last few years where India had lost to Australia in the World Test Championship final twice and the 50-over World Cup final on home ground. "People understand when there is pressure what needs to be done," captain Rohit Sharma said after India's win. "Today was a perfect example, (we) stuck together with our backs to the wall. We really wanted this bad... so proud of the group of boys and the management."
