Odisha Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board has started a scholarship program named as Construction Workers Welfare Scheme Scholarship.
The objective of starting the Construction Workers Welfare Scheme Scholarship is to help the children of building and other construction workers to complete their education.

A candidate needs -
- Be a permanent resident of Odisha state
- Belonging to General / ST / SC / OBC / SEBC / EBC Category
- Have secured a minimum of 60% marks in the previous qualifying examination for various categories of merit scholarship
Benefits of Construction Workers Welfare Scheme Scholarship
Under this scholarship scheme, students who meet the eligibility criteria will receive variable awards. here is the list
- Class VI and VII: Rs. 2000 per year (Girls)
- Class 8th: Rs. 2000 per year
- Class 9th: Rs. 3000 per year
- Class 10th: Rs. 4000 per year
- Children securing 90% and above in class 10th: Rs. 10000 once
- 11th and 12th: Rs. 5000 per year
- BA, BSc, BCom and PG studies: Rs. 7000 per year
- B.Tech/MCA/MBA/B.Arch./M.Arch./M. Tech./ M.Sc/ B Pharm/ M Pharm/ Hotel Management & Catering Services/ Medical from Government College: Rs. 40000 per year
- Ed/CT/Nursing Training: Rs. 10000 per year
